2. You Must Love Your Chosen Business

It is important to be passionate about what you do. Do what you love! Someone once said, "you should make your vacation your vocation" Life is too short to spend the majority of your day doing something you don't enjoy. I spent many years in a job I hated. I just love my home business. I turned my hobby of entrepreneurism into a business and to me it is not a job.

If you are passionate about your business, you will succeed in it.

3. Value success over financial gain.

To be successful in your business, you can't just focus on the money. If you focus on success and the achievements in your business, the money will come naturally. If you are only focused on the money, it will show, to your customers and your peers. Focus on building the business and your customers and the financial reward will come.

To be a successful home business owner, it is important that you value your accomplishment more than what you earn.

There may be many other important traits that are required to run a successful home business. However, without these three key traits, success will be harder, if not impossible to achieve.
